Custom Orders
The Process
Each etched mirror is thoughtfully created from start to finish. Here’s how the process works:
1. Submit Your Idea
Start by sharing your vision — this could be a specific floral, ornamental frame, meaningful quote, logo, or a general aesthetic direction. Inspiration photos are always welcome.
2. Design & Approval
Your concept is translated into a fine line design tailored specifically for glass engraving. Once the draft is ready, you’ll receive a proof for review. Minor adjustments can be made to ensure everything feels balanced and intentional before moving forward.
3. Production
Once approved, your mirror is carefully hand-etched using precision engraving techniques. Each line is permanently carved into the glass, creating a soft frosted effect with depth and texture.
4. Finishing & Pickup/Shipping
After engraving, your mirror is cleaned, detailed, and prepared for pickup or secure shipping.
Turnaround Time
Each etched mirror is hand-designed and individually engraved, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind. Standard turnaround time is 2–3 weeks from final design approval.
Larger, highly detailed, or bulk orders may require additional time. If you have a specific deadline (gift, event, pop-up, etc.), please note it when submitting your request and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Rush orders may be available for an additional fee depending on current production volume.
Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all custom mirror orders. Your deposit secures your design time, materials, and production slot.
The remaining balance is due prior to pickup or shipment.
Because each piece is custom-made and engraved specifically for you, deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun.
Policies
At Homesick Creative Studios, each etched mirror is custom-designed and hand-engraved with intention. Because of the personalized nature of this work, the following policies apply:
Design Revisions
Each custom order includes up to two minor revisions after the initial proof is sent.
Minor revisions include small size adjustments or slight refinements to existing elements.
Major redesigns or concept changes may require an additional design fee.
Once final approval is given and engraving has begun, no further design changes can be made.
Cancellations
Because each mirror is made specifically for you, deposits are non-refundable once design work has started.
If engraving has already begun, the full balance remains due.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of these pieces, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders.
If your mirror arrives damaged during shipping, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the packaging and product. We will work with you to resolve the issue appropriately.
Artwork Guidelines
Clients must have the rights to any logos or artwork submitted. We reserve the right to decline designs that are copyrighted, trademarked, or do not align with our brand values.
Care & Liability
Etched mirrors are decorative glass pieces and should be handled with care. Homesick Creative Studios is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, installation, or accidents after pickup or delivery.
